The Streamsong has a queen bedroom with its own jacuzzi-for-2 bath. The building still retains the original chestnut hardwood floors throughout, there is a fireplace in the living room (and a charming firelight stove in the bedroom), plus a charming kitchen and dining room. The front porch has rocking chairs and a checkerboard for old-fashioned fun.
The absolute best part is the
Streamsong deck, which hangs right out over the
little waterfalls. A 12-foot peaked roof (and ceiling fan!) make this
outdoor room the best place to be. We knew you'd love it, so we put
French doors that open right out onto the deck, and you can enjoy your

The Streamsong
Room
speaks with a continental accent... it is decorated in white and French blue
Toile du Jouy. Your queen-size cherry
sleighbed beckons with fine linens and feather pillows, with lace draped
overhead. The desk is an antique mahogany Sheraton vanity, with tenderly
cared for linen handkerchiefs tucked under the glass top. Even the
nightstands are old dresser boxes - little cherry drawers that Ladies kept
The bath is utterly divine with a whirlpool-tub-for-two, set in a grotto-like gray stone brought from Italy, and accented with river rock taken right out of the stream. And you're going to love the water faucet - it's a refitted pump! |

Absolutely the best part is the French doors that open onto your own private deck right on the stream. We've added dual-control electric blankets so that you can leave the windows open and listen to that soothing sound all night long... |
