Procedure for Travelers
Flexibility will net more results!

1. Select the property you’d like to visit and the time you’d like to travel.

2. Contact Night For Night with your request including the name of the property you'd like to visit and the specific proposed date(s) of travel. If the travel is for a Designee, you MUST make this a part of your initial request.  All requests are made via the Online Exchange Request Form.

3. Your request will be forwarded to the prospective Host. Immediately upon reply, Night For Night will notify you of a positive or negative response.

4a.. If the response is negative, feel free to make another request for a different date or different property.
4b. If there is an agreement to Host, both members will be notified.

5. The Host will send a confirmation email to the Traveler, including date(s) of the Stay, room designation, policies, and other pertinent data. Traveler should reply promptly upon receipt. Please feel free to contact each other at this point - this organization is a friendly one! If you do decide to contact each other by telephone once the Stay is confirmed, please refrain from use of each other's toll-"free" numbers.

6. Once the Stay has been completed and you have returned (relaxed and refreshed) to your home, notify Night For Night so that your account may be updated.  Please feel free to include a "traveler report."  Positive reports are always welcome.  Negative situations should certainly be addressed, and you may feel free to use Night For Night as a go-between to make complaints or suggestions for improvement to your Hosts.

Procedure for Hosts
You can’t get credit if you don’t report the stay!

1. Respond as soon as possible to inquiries about a Stay at your property. You are never under obligation to Host, and need not explain should you wish to decline.

2. Respond as soon as possible with a confirmation of a Stay, to allow a Traveler to make vacation arrangements.

Immediately upon notification from Night For Night that Traveler and Host have agreed to a Stay, the Host will email a confirmation to the Traveler, including date(s) of the Stay, room designation, check-in/out times, and your applicable policies.

If you do decide to contact each other by telephone once the Stay is confirmed, please refrain from use of each other's toll-"free" numbers.

3. Once the Stay has been confirmed, mark your calendar to reserve your best accommodation for the Traveler on the date(s) in question.

4. Enjoy the visit!

5. Upon completion of the Stay, notify Night For Night so that your activity record will be updated.  Please feel free to include a “host report."   Positive reports are always welcome.  Negative situations should certainly be addressed, and you may feel free to use Night For Night as a go-between to make complaints or suggestions for improvement to your Travelers.

Special Note:
As of January 1, 2004, all exchanges extended to Timberwolf Creek will receive double nights.  This applies to both the Timberwolf Creek innkeepers and their designees.  This is our way of saying "thank you!" to all our wonderful members who have so graciously welcomed us into their inns.  (Example: if you host Timberwolf Creek for 2 nights, you will earn 4.)
