View from the suite balcony, looking down at the stream, the waterwheel, and the footbridge Rhododendrons bloom profusely here, in colors from palest pink to deep fuscia. Some of our rhodies are over 50 years old and top 15 feet tall! This stone-lined path leads to the guest house. At night, tiny lights show you the way. Relax in the afternoon sun, daydreaming and rocking on the porch.
The gardens here are constantly evolving, as we try to find Sandee-proof plants, impervious to her lack of a green thumb! waterfal.jpg (30201 bytes) Pecan Pie - we always have just-baked goodies for you in the den Summery weather means creekside breakfasts! Fresh fruit is always on the menu.
Colonel Pugmire had the waterwheel built by the boys in the shop class at our local high school Built by Todd Barrow (HGTV Modern Master) this four-poster is constructed of laurel branches. The Sweethearts Package includes a special turndown service - bubbly, chocolates, roses, crystal, silver... A down-covered white iron bed in a woodland aerie - that's our Maggie Valley Suite
