October's Bright Blue Weather

I believe the author must have
walked the banks of our stream
one autumn afternoon, and
then set her pen to paper.

 

'When springs run low,
and on the brooks,
in idle golden freighting,
Bright leaves sink noiseless
in the hush
Of woods, for winter waiting'

Autumn Views

Autumn's Arrival - Color that takes your breath away!


    The mountains take on the mantle of color that makes this part of the planet so appealing.
The sun is out, the skies are clear and blue, and the beauty that is the Great Smoky Mountains is here for all to share. 


Maggie Valley is ringed in by mountains, surrounded and protected from the elements. 
And Timberwolf Creek is in a cove, protected within this quiet Valley.


Our trees stand tall - our streams run clear and musical - the Blue Ridge Parkway and Great Smoky Mountains park beckon.


So we have what you seek:
A haven from the city pace, a quiet refuge,
the bounty of nature's autumn display,
and an all around wonderful vacation.
